Professional, fast, and expert services
Installing a new sewer connection is no small feat, and we want to make it as easy for you as possible. Here at U C Em Facilities, our team has developed an efficient process to get your main sewer connection done quickly with minimal stress.
Below we have broken down what you need to do into a few easy steps to start the process. We will guide you through the entire process, including what to expect at each stage.
STEP 1: To get started, you must apply with the local Water Authority. You can do this by providing them with your postcode or grid reference and paying an applicable fee – all of which are required criteria before we begin working on connecting infrastructure in/around your area.
STEP 2: You must get permission from the local highways authority before entering any highway (whether it be a road, footpath, or verge).
STEP 3: You must organise a Service Search to determine if the equipment of the local authority is in the area (it should cost £50).
STEP 4: Our professional team start to work to connect your property.
If everything goes to plan, then it is likely that the process will take a minimum of 6 weeks, depending on the approval of local highways.
U C Em Facilities is fully conversant with every procedure of the New Roads, Street Works Act (NRSWA) requirements and all current standards set out in Sewers for adoption 7th Addition.
